Amazing Turkey Burgers

These turkey burgers are always a hit in my house. They always turn out flavorful and juicy!

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 pounds ground turkey
  • 1 medium zuccini, grated or finely diced
  • 1 cup shredded monterey jack cheese
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried minced garlic
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 multigrain buns 

Directions:

 1. In a large bowl, combine turkey, zuccini, cheese, and spices. Mix well and form into four flat patties. 

2.  Place burgers on a broiler pan (about 2 inches from the heat) or grill and cook about 6 minutes.  Carefully flip the burgers and continue to cook an additional 6 minutes, or until the burgers register 165 ° on an instant-read thermometer.
3.  Toast buns, if desired.    Top with turkey burger, lettuce, tomato, avocado or any other toppings your family likes!
