These are definitely not healthy, but they are such a yummy treat! We brought them to a pig roast this wekeend and they were a huge hit!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1cup semi-Sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped toffee candy (like Heath Bits – you can find these near the chocolate chips)
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375° F. Grease 8x8 baking pan.
- Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a small bowl. In a mixer, beat the brown sugar, butter and vanilla until creamy. Add the egg and then gradually add the flour mixture. When combined, stir in chips and toffee.
3. Spread the cookie dough into the prepared baking pan. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the center is slightly hardened. Remove the pan and cool on a wire rack. Cut into bars.
